Analysis | Visual | Segment | Impact on Target


The Impact on Target shows:

  • how the observable variables differentiate the analyzed segment from the chosen benchmark (either Overall, the entire dataset, or another segment),
  • whether the differentiations are significant.

The differentiation/impact is computed by using the difference between the mean values of the variables, and the effect on the Target node:


 is the analyzed segment,

 is the benchmark,

 is the analyzed observable variable,

 is the mean value of the observable variable on the dataset (segment or benchmark),

 is the effect of the observable variable on the Target node evaluated on the benchmark.
